In this project, you will research an endangered North American animal using a search engine on the Internet. You will learn to use a search engine like Google.ca effectively by typing the name of the animal as well as some details of your choice in quotation marks. This will allow you to narrow down the information to a level where you can use it in your research.
Once you have chosen the web site(s), write the address of this/these web site(s) down for future references.
Students will then be expected to take note and to separate important information through the creation of a mind map using the program called Inspiration.
Once your mind map is done, you will print it and use it to write your research in paragraph form. This should be done using the Microsoft Word brochure template.
Students will be expected to use formatting tool in Microsoft Word such as:
· Bold
· Font
· Size
· Center
· Colors
· Copy/Cut/Paste Pictures
· Print their document
